Kathmandu | China has opened the Transit route to import and monitor goods from third countries. In the press conference organized by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies today, the Secretary of the Ministry, Kedar Bahadur Adhikari, informed that there was also a transit route from China to the geographical Nepal as it has diversified the transit of Nepal and opened the way to import imports from Japan and Korea.
After recent visit to China, Chinese transit facility has been received as an option for Nepal after signing the Transit-related Protocol.
After signing the Transit Transit, Nepal will now be able to use three different ports of China and 4 sea ports. Nepal will also be able to use other port of China as per requirement.
According to the agreement, Nepal will use six different types of transit facilities in Nepal. In the letter convention, Secretary informed that the necessary process would be carried out using the necessary study transit facility within the next 1 month.
It has been diversity in Nepal’s transit service dependent on India. Only 80 percent of trade has been done with India and China in the international trade of Nepal.
